Isabella Restaurant and Bar opened in February of 2003 and has received rave reviews ever since. Owned and operated by the Tambur Family, the elegant setting and superb cuisine present a cosmopolitan feel in the heart of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Isabella Restaurant and Bar is proud to introduce its new Executive Chef, Chef Anthony Griffiths.
A graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, Pittsburgh, Chef Anthony started his career in 2002 at the prestigious Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, Az. Chef Anthony’s career has been shaped by experience at numerous resorts and restaurants such as the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Four Seasons, Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Glenmaura National, Pennsylvania; Mohegan Sun Casino, Pennsylvania; and Bart & Urby’s, Pennsylvania.
Chef Anthony will oversee all culinary operations and catering services for private parties with the same traditional philosophy known at Isabella’s to provide fresh, natural and organic ingredients and celebrate local farmers, sustainable seafood, and high quality meats.
Specializing in French Cuisine from his background at the Pennrose Room at the Broadmoor, Chef Anthony is no stranger to the preparation of Game Foods derived from his experience at the Four Seasons. Chef Anthony has an excellent grasp on flavor, presentation and an overall complete understanding of food. And his creative talent to pair wines and foods is second to none.
